Kristi Petersen, INS Marketing Manager – After spending many years managing regional marketing efforts in a retail environment, Kristi Petersen joined the advertising world. During her 15-year agency career, Kristi provided strategic planning, public relations, media and advertising consultation to many clients including Zeneca Ag Chemical, Maytag Corporation, MidAmerican Energy Company, Iowa Telecom and Iowa Network Services. In October 2005, Iowa Network Services (INS) recruited Kristi away from their agency of record to head up the INS marketing department. With over ten years of telecom experience, today Kristi is the Marketing Manager of INS.

Michael S. Eggley, INS Chief Operating Officer – Mike is one of the original employees of INS. In 1993, he conceived, created and led netINS, the Internet division of INS. netINS quickly became the largest Internet Service Provider in the state providing dialup, high speed and dedicated Internet access for Independent Telecommunications Companies and other businesses. Today, Mike is directly responsible for all facets of INS’ operations as well as its strategic direction and vision. Mike enjoys all four seasons of Iowa through his hobbies. During the warm months you might see him on the bike trail, a golf course or in a fishing hole. When the cold winds blow, Mike will spend his time playing his guitar or holding a paint brush.

Chris Williams, INS Internet Services Manager – Since joining INS in 1997, Chris has held various positions within the company. Currently, Chris collaborates with INS team members and vendor partners to deliver cutting-edge communication solutions. Researching, developing and enhancing Internet products and solutions are Chris’s primary focus. Additionally, Chris manages the INS wholesale ISP, dedicated Internet, web and email hosting, MPLS, desktop security, web video conferencing and call center support services. While he can talk “geek speak” with the best of them, he also enjoys conversations about (and partaking in) good music and great food.

Zita Quade, INS Public Relations Coordinator – Before joining INS to help launch the company into social media, Zita provided marketing strategy to clients in the biotech, healthcare, financial, and education sectors. An Iowa State University ag journalism grad, she has provided communication solutions from farm gate to dinner plate. She counts as one of her most interesting travels as a trip to a client’s grandparent poultry research farm in Scotland. In her free time, she enjoys watching her son play high school sports and getting back to rural Iowa to enjoy the seasons.

Kristy McDermott, INS Market Expansion Manager – Kristy is responsible for identifying and researching prospective network expansion build out projects and acquisitions. With more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunication industry, she has significant expertise in market and business analysis of network construction projects, and project management. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from the University of Iowa.
